Our paper describing breast reconstruction with a combination of LAP and DIEP flaps was published this month in #PRSJournal. This technique involves total breast reconstruction with tissue from the tummy (DIEP flap) and from the back, or love handle (LAP flap). We have a large volume experience with both types of breast reconstruction and recently started combining them to provide breast reconstruction with a simultaneous body lift in very specific patients.
